About Us

The Apprentice Employment Network WA (AEN WA) is the peak not-for-profit association representing a high number of member Group Training Organisations (GTOs) operating in Western Australia. Established in 1993, it has been a registered charity since 2017.

We provide our members with a variety of services and engage in activities to ensure we effectively advocate, promote, and safeguard their interests regarding apprenticeships and traineeship issues.

Our members are located throughout metropolitan, regional and remote areas of Western Australia and offer apprenticeships and traineeships within a wide range of industries.

AEN WA is also a member of the national network of group training associations supported by the National Apprentice Employment Network.

Our Mission

AEN WA is a dynamic network dedicated to bridging the gap between businesses and aspiring talent.

We empower employers to effectively employ Apprentices and Trainees while guiding job seekers toward exciting opportunities that can transform their careers. We believe in fostering growth, development, and success for both businesses and individuals. Whether you’re looking to enhance your workforce or seeking a fulfilling apprenticeship or traineeship, we’re here to provide the support you need. Reach out to us today or fill out our contact form to get started on this journey together.

Our Management Committee

AEN WA is governed by a management committee elected by our members, chosen for their expertise and dedication to supporting and advocating for GTOs registered to operate in Western Australia.

The committee, elected every two years from our membership base, operates voluntarily, reflecting a strong commitment to the Australian Apprenticeship system and the development of skilled workforces.

The committee members invest their time and expertise by participating in meetings with senior executives at both State and Australian government levels, and do not receive sitting fees. Their unwavering dedication to representing the network underscores their belief in our collective vision and objectives.
