Our aim is to increase the number of apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities in WA to build local skills for local people. We’ve spent the last 21 years building the largest Australian Apprenticeship Support Network right here in WA. We operate from 15 locations throughout metropolitan and regional areas. CTF is creating a skilled Western Australian workforce. The building and construction industry pays a levy directed to training the workers our State needs. CTF collects the levy and uses it to reduce the cost of training our industry workforce. The levy pays for training, programs and grants.


The Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships Information Service (AATIS) raises awareness of potential apprenticeship and traineeship pathways to students, job hunters,  career advisors, employers and others working in the industry.  They provide up-to-date information and resources which are used by the networks delivering Australian Apprenticeships support services, including Apprenticeship Network providers and Group Training Organisations.

AATIS is funded by The Department of Education, Skills and Employment.

National Apprentice Employment Network (NAEN) is the national association representing a network of around 100 group training organisations (GTOs) located throughout metropolitan, regional and remote areas of Australia. NAEN provides advocacy and professional development services for the GTO national network, working closely with the state group training employment networks.
