About Us

The Apprentice Employment Network WA (AEN WA) is Western Australia’s peak not‑for‑profit association representing a large and diverse network of Group Training Organisations (GTOs). Established in 1993 and registered as a charity in 2017, AEN WA has a long‑standing commitment to strengthening the skilled workforce across the state.

We connect businesses with emerging talent and support job seekers to access rewarding apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities. Our role is to help employers confidently engage apprentices and trainees; while ensuring individuals receive the guidance, support and development they need to build successful careers.

Our Management Committee

AEN WA is governed by a management committee elected by our members, chosen for their expertise and dedication to supporting and advocating for GTOs registered to operate in Western Australia.

The committee, elected every two years from our membership base, operates voluntarily, reflecting a strong commitment to the Australian Apprenticeship system and the development of skilled workforces.

The committee members invest their time and expertise by participating in meetings with senior executives at both State and Australian government levels, and do not receive sitting fees. Their unwavering dedication to representing the network underscores their belief in our collective vision and objectives.
