The 2024 NCVER Apprentice and Trainee Outcomes report, released 24 March 2025, reveals that Apprenticeship and Traineeship programs are really effective in helping people find employment. The high employment rates for both trade and non-trade students are impressive. The best employment trades are Electrotechnology and Telecommunications Trades Workers (86.0%), Construction Workers (84.6%), and Automotive and Engineering Trades Workers (81.0%).
The most common reason for not completing a trade apprenticeship or traineeship was dissatisfaction with pay, working conditions, or the workplace. Despite not completing their apprenticeship or traineeships, satisfaction remained relatively high. MEDIA STATEMENT
